Student Leadership

In addition to our traditional SRC (Student Representative Council) comprising representatives from every class (R-6) and Sports Team Captains, Athelstone School offers a Student Leadership program for Year 6 students.

Senior students can apply to become a School Leader and one leader from each class is selected. These leaders undertake roles including attending SRC meetings, meeting regularly with the school leadership team to support school initiatives, greeting visitors and dignitaries and accompanying prospective families on school tours.

Senior students can also support one of the following portfolios to provide leadership in:

• School Climate
• Media
• Environment
• Library
• Logistics
